John Shirley

Shirley, John F. of Fenton, Missouri was born to Donald H. and Antoinette (nee Keane) Shirley and entered into Heaven from the arms of his wife on Monday, January 9, 2023, at the age of 70.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael Shirley.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Kathy (nee LeClere) Shirley; his two devoted children, Jenni Mujkanovic and Patrick (Julie) Shirley; his adored grandchildren Alaina Mujkanovic, Landen Mujkanovic, and Marceline Shirley; his brother of Anthony Shirley; nieces, nephews, in-laws and many friends.

John loved to travel. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his family boating and fishing at Bull Shoals Lake. John had a passion for woodworking. He liked to play golf, cards, and games. He was known for pulling pranks and joking. Some would say he was a computer nerd. John could be seen feeding and watching the birds when time allowed. He loved being Papa. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services: Family and friends to gather Friday, January 13, 2023, from 3:00 -8:00 p.m. Funeral Service is Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Both held at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63129. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery.
