Joseph A "Tony" Capriglione Jr.

Joseph A. "Tony" Capriglione Jr. October 14, 1947- December 18, 2024, Age 77. Beloved husband of Barb (nee Patton),.and loving father of the late Joseph A. III "Crumbs", Tiffany, Frankie, Adam, Dyana, Dominic and Dion. 

Adored and treasured grandpa of Isabella (Yo), Cameron (Koothrappali), Ariana (Muliana), Bailey (Buffy), Eli (Omar) and Kyleigh (Jonesy). 

Dear son of the late Helen and Joseph A. Capriglione Sr. dearest brother of Mary Ellen, the late Freddie Capriglione, the late Philip Capriglione (surviving Joan), Donna, David, Frances and Mona. Admired cousin of Joya, Joey, JC, and Frank as well as many, many others. 

Faithful father and friend, lover of God and lover of good. Our sweet uncle, nephew and friend. He also valued the many memorable moments shared with his good friend Larry.

Tony's greatest love was his family and his grandchildren were absolutely his pride and Joy.

 A true Marine through and through, who proudly served his country.  A Vietnam veteran with many honors and medals. 

Although he is no longer with us, his love continues to surround us. We will never forget you, We will never stop missing you and we will always cherish the time that we had with you. You will be deeply missed.

Memorials are appreciated in lieu of flowers to Disabled American Veterans or American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm, Thursday, December 26, 2024 at John L. Ziegenehin and Sons, South County Chapel 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd., St. Louis, MO 63129. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Friday, December 27, 2024 at Assumption Catholic Church, 4725 Mattis Rd., St. Louis, Missouri 63128. Interment in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
