Joseph J. "Jerry" Orsega Sr, age 83, Retired UAW, passed away October 2, 2023.
Beloved husband of Linda Orsega (nee Woehr); dear father of Joseph (Michelle) Orsega Jr, Jason (Meghan) Orsega, and Matthew Orsega; brother of the late John (Karen) Orsega, George(Betty) Orsega and James "Timothy" (Deanna) Orsega.
After retiring from Chrysler, Jerry enjoyed spending his time with the Men's Club at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, along with serving at Trinity Soulard Soup Kitchen. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching his Penguins, Steelers and his beloved Cubs. He was loving to all and loved by many, and he will be missed.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm @ John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint Louis, MO. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 @ 10:30 am @ Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, 5252 S. Lindbergh Blvd, Saint Louis, MO 63126.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association, Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the Trinity Soulard Soup Kitchen
