Judith Swier

Swier, Judith M. “Judy” (nee Kovach), asleep in Jesus on Tuesday, March 30, 2021.  Beloved wife, best friend and partner of John F. Swier for almost 52 years.  Beloved mother of Vaughn A. Swier and Dr. Ryan A. (Holly A.) Swier.  Loving “Grandma Judy” of Mason and Makenna  Swier.  Dear sister of John (Sharron) Kovach and the late Richard (Mary surviving) Kovach.  Dear sister-in-law of Lt. Col. (Ret) Richard (Susan) Swier and Dr. Thomas Swier.  Dear daughter of the late John and Mary Kovach (nee Sokolic).  Our dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Judith’s love was her family, especially being Grandma Judy.  She loved caring for

“grand-dog” Belle, attending music concerts, seeing shows at the Fox Theater, meeting celebrities and trips to Branson, MO.  Judith remembered every birthday and holiday by showering others with cards and gifts.

Services:  Visitation Monday, April 5th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Road (63129).

Visitation Tuesday, April 6th at St. Lucas Ev. Lutheran Church, 7100 Morganford Road (63116) from 9:00 am to the time of funeral service at 10:00 am Tuesday.  Interment St. Trinity Cemetery.
