Karen Twillmann

Twillmann, Karen (nee Weiss), asleep in Jesus on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the age of 78.

Karen was born to her treasured parents the late Eugene and Mary (nee Caradonna) Weiss on July 31, 1947.

Karen was a Riverview graduate and a member of the Volleyball group. Karen’s adoration for her grandchildren was endless, and she valued every moment spent with her family. Her home was akin to a daycare and felt like a haven of laughter and nurturing. Her creative mind was evident through her love of crafts and reading. Karen showed her profound appreciation of nature through birdwatching and planting flowers. She possessed a true servant’s heart and dedicated her time volunteering at Rogers Elementary.

Karen is survived by her beloved husband Dale Twillmann; devoted children Todd (Jackie) Twillmann and Tami (Tony) Melton; cherished grandchildren Lexi Twillmann, Sarah Melton, Lanie Twillmann, and Bekah Melton.

A visitation for Karen will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home South County Chapel 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd., St. Louis, MO 63129, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral will be held the following day on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 am, with interment in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery to follow.
