Karl Marvin Witzel passed away on Monday January 8, 2024, at the age of 57. Preceded in death by parents Paul and Marian Witzel (nee Stuckmeyer). Survived by his beloved brother Kurt Witzel, beloved sister-in-law Celeste, his beloved Aunt Bev, many beloved cousins and other relatives, and many dear friends.
Born in St. Louis, Karl was a graduate of Oakville High School, class of 1985, before continuing his education at St. Louis University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree. Karl began his career at Anheuser-Busch Brewery and worked there for 20 years before his career took him to LMI Aerospace Inc. where he was employed until his passing. Karl was a big fan of sports and was especially supportive of the St Louis Cardinals, and was an avid fan of the St Louis Blues and the Kansas City Chiefs. He was particularly a fan of the Cardinals player, Albert Pujols, and had much admiration for Albert.
Karl touched many lives throughout his life and will be missed by all who had the blessing of meeting him. Karl truly had a heart of gold. He will be especially missed by his furry friend, Hayley, to whom he was a most dearest pet uncle.

Karl’s visitation will be held Friday January 19, 2024, at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. memorial service.
