Katherine E. Eason "Katie"

Katherine E. Eason, affectionately known as Katie, passed away on November 25, 2023, a courageous five-year battle with cancer, at the age of 30.

Katie is survived by her loving parents, David E. and Glenda M. (nee Rottler) Eason; her devoted brother, Timothy E. Eason; and her caring sister, Kristina E. Eason. She leaves behind her grandmother, Helen M. Rottler, and is preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald E. Eason, and her late grandfather Glennon C. Rottler and late grandmother Florence L. Eason. Katie also had a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who meant the world to her. She was truly blessed with many wonderful friends.

Katie had an incredible love for her family that knew no bounds. She graduated from Notre Dame Catholic High School and went on to pursue a marketing degree at Missouri State University. Katie's vibrant spirit led her to work at Hollywood Casino where she found joy in every moment. She had a passion for shopping and would always ask those around her, "What are you thinking for dinner?" Her time spent with friends was cherished and filled with laughter and unforgettable memories.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Brian VanTine and his exceptional medical staff at Siteman Cancer Center for their unwavering care and support throughout Katie's journey.

A visitation in memory of Katie will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 10:00 am until the service begins at 12:00 pm at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Chapel located at 4830 Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis, MO 63129.  Following the service, Katie will be laid to rest at St. Paul Churchyard Cemetery.
