Kathleen Carol Gerber

Gerber, Kathleen C. “Kathy”, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at the age of 85. Daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth (nee Holtgrefe) Gerber. Preceded in death by her dear siblings Henry, Rosemary, and Ralph. Kathy is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kathleen possessed a youthful and creative spirit and was a proud member of Beta Sigma Phi and the Red Hat Society. Her immense talents ranged from lovingly crafting holiday ornaments to meticulously setting up her treasured Christmas village, a hallmark that the holiday season had truly begun. She enjoyed volunteering with and tutoring the children at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church and found fulfillment in acts of service towards others. Some of Kathleen’s most cherished memories were made while traveling and camping with her precious sister Rosemary.

Kathleen’s warmth will be carried on in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to know her and experience her boundless kindness. She will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathleen’s honor can be made to the American Diabetes Association.

A visitation for family and friends to gather and celebrate Kathleen’s life will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM with funeral mass to follow at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church. Interment in Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery to follow to the service.
