Kurt Tanner

Kurt Louis David Tanner was adored and loved by everyone he met. His soul was so sweet and would stop to do anything for anyone. He will be remembered and cherished as the beloved son of Todd and Lynette, nee Buesking, Tanner, adoring father of Tatum and Emery Tanner, fiercely loved by fiancé Jordan Phillips, the best brother of Brittany (Brett) Moore, grandson of, Alfred and Valerie Tanner; Otto and Penneye Buesking; the late Karla Tanner; and the late Sondra Gray, the best uncle to, Bronx, Brody,and Briggs. He was also loved by so many aunts, uncles, cousins, close relatives, and many dear friends.

Kurt followed in his fathers footsteps and was a valued associate at Sherwin Williams. He was absolutely devoted to his fiancé and his two children who occupied the center of his world. Tatum and Emery are his number one passion, and his love and personality will live on through them. He was also a dedicated Uncle to his three nephews and a rockstar godfather to Bronx. Besides his absolute focus on family, Kurt was a talented hockey player that was apart of many travel teams while growing up and touched on so many lives and secured forever friendships while playing out his passion. He will be forever remembered and both families cherish and lift us his memory. He will Always be everyone’s Kurty.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm, Friday, September 24, 2021, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home, South County Chapel, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road. Funeral Services will be at 11 am, Saturday, September 25, 2021, at the funeral home.
