Lawrence "Larry" Michael Grilliot peacefully entered into rest, surrounded by loved ones at home on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the age of 75, following a courageous battle with Prostate Cancer. Beloved husband of Amy Grilliot, nee Sharp; devoted father of Mark (Hélène) Grilliot and Lucy (Greg) Parker; cherished grandfather of Vivienne, Lana, and Rhys Grilliot, and Isaac and Chloe Parker; dear brother of June (the late George) Chalou, John (Carol) Grilliot, Joe (Jeanne) Grilliot, Joyce (Bill) Curtner, and Joanne (Steve) Faler; and treasured uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Larry is also survived by many other dear relatives and friends. Larry was preceded in death by and reunited with his parents, Leonard and Emma, nee Schlater, Grilliot, and brother, Jim (surviving Vicki) Grilliot.
Larry cherished spending time with his family, especially making memories together at the beach. He took great pride in his many career accomplishments and embraced a variety of roles throughout his life, demonstrating dedication, versatility, and a strong work ethic. Above all, Larry was devoted to his family. He served as a source of comfort and strength, always willing to listen, offering endless patience, and leading with unwavering love. Larry's legacy of love, grace, and lessons shared will live on, carried in the hearts of his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Mercy Foundation Hospice Fund, S. New Ballas Road St. Louis, MO 63141, in Larry's honor.
