Laurel Ruzas

Laurel Ann Ruzas passed away on January 8, 2021.  She was born on August 10, 1948 in Centralia, Illinois and had resided in Oakville, Missouri since 1988.

Laurel left a loving husband of fifty years, John, and a son Scott.  She also left behind a brother Ed Chaney and his wife Pam and her beloved niece, Megan.

Laurel was a graduate of Centralia High School, Barnes School of Nursing in          St. Louis and obtained her advanced degree from Webster University in St. Louis.

After spending years working as an RN, she advanced to a health management position attaining the vice presidency with a major health insurance organization until she retired.

She enjoyed needlepoint and Scotty Dogs but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
