Leigh Ann Hastings entered into rest far too soon on Saturday June 7, 2025, at the age of 49. Precious daughter of Jan Todd (Dane) Leslie and Gerard (Sue) Hastings; devoted mother of Breanna (Wesley) Scoular, nee Hastings; cherished grandma to Winnie and Lincoln Scoular; dear sisters Katy Williams, nee Hastings, and Samantha (Chris) Sturges, nee Todd; and many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. Preceded in death by and reunited with treasured grandparents Marvin and Helen Breitenfeld.
Known for her incredibly good-hearted nature and remarkable generosity, Leigh touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Her unwavering spirit of kindness sparkled in every interaction, as she constantly thought of other people, no matter the situation.
In her free time, Leigh found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often indulging in "retail therapy." These moments of finding just the right item brought her comfort and delight, reflecting her vibrant personality and zest for living.
Our hearts ache while we miss Leigh, but celebrate and treasure the memories and love she shared. Leigh will be greatly missed by all who got the chance to meet her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to American Heart Association.
A visitation for Leigh's family and friends to gather and share memories of her loving life will be held on Thursday June 19, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Parlors 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129.
May Leigh rest in peace.
