Levi Horton

In loving memory of Levi D. Horton “Lee” who passed away at his residence on March 1, 2022, in St. Louis, MO at the age of 90 years.

Lee was a retired Government Employee was born in Kennett, MO on August 16, 1931, to the late Pauline (Neal) Horton and Carl Horton his parents.  He was also preceded in death by his brother Donald Paul Horton, his wife Theresa , son Keith D. Brooks, aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his daughter Karla J. (nee Brooks) Lindhorst, son-in-law Dennis R. Lindhorst; daughter-in-law Toni M. Brooks; 5 grandchildren Angela Marie (nee Brooks) Muegge, Natalie Marie Brooks, Brooks Lee (Kara) Lindhorst, Douglas Keith (Jessica) Lindhorst, Kari Jean Lindhorst; 7 great-grandchildren, Sophia Marie Muegge, Henry William Muegge, Dominick Chambers, Marc Anderson Lindhorst, Evelyn Rose Lindhorst, Henley Kay Lindhorst and Meavry Jean Lindhorst; Beloved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Levi loved fishing, going to the casino, he fixed up bicycles and sold them on his front lawn, and going to garage sales.  He will truly be missed

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until services at 1:00 p.m. @ John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home, 7027 Gravois Ave., Interment immediately following the services at New St. Marcus Cemetery.  Memorial donations can be made to the Diabetes Association or the Heart Foundation.
