Lily Ann dedicated her life to shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning. She pursued her education at Lindenwood College, where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree with a major in music. This background in music brought a unique perspective to her teaching style and allowed her to inspire creativity in her students. Her innovative approach to education created an environment where curiosity flourished, and lifelong learners were born.
Outside of the classroom, Lily Ann was a mother of two: Vickie (Steve) Owings and the late John C.T. (Keri) Crocker. Lily Ann was deeply proud of her children and considered their happiness and success as her greatest achievements.
Lily Ann's family brought joy to her life, especially in later years when she beamed with pride as she watched them grow into loving parents themselves. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren Kyle (Caroline) Owings, Krysta Owings, Kristian Owings, Katherine Owings, Juliana Crocker, Annaliesa Crocker, Charlie Crocker, and Caitlin (Josh) Cochran.
As a member of St. Louis Central Seventh-day Adventist Church as well as the St. Louis Concert Choir, Lily Ann found solace in music, world travel, and spirituality.
