Linda L. Burnett, (nee Hart), 83 was born on January 27, 1943, and entered into rest on April 30, 2026, in Saint Louis City. She lived a life marked by devotion to her family, a heartfelt connection to nature, and a deep love for animals.
Linda was a devoted mother to her children Denise M. Gerren, Pamela L. (Mitchell) Landry, and Tina M. (Dan) Milbourn. Her nurturing spirit extended warmly to her grandchildren Amanda L. (Dan) Cline, Rebecca A. (Isaac) Nance, Andrew T. Pierce, Justin M. (Meghan) Milbourn, Nicole M. (Andy) Cibulka, and Christina R. (Andrew) Schilly. Among her lasting legacies is the cherished bond she shared with her nine great-grandchildren, a living testament to the love she cultivated throughout her life. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to being a beloved mother and grandmother, Linda was a dear companion to her loving cats Molly, Billy, and Sammy, who brought joy and comfort to her everyday life. Her care and affection for animals reflected her gentle and kindhearted nature.
Linda found happiness and fulfillment in her hobbies, particularly crafts and gardening. These pursuits allowed her creativity to flourish and her love for the natural world to blossom, further underscoring her connection to life’s simple and meaningful pleasures.
She was also the loving wife of the late James M. Burnett, whose memory she held close in her heart. And loving mother to her late son Virgil "Dean" Burnett.
