Linda Dyonzak, nee Eirvin, entered into rest on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the age of 73 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Preceded in death by her parents Earnest and Margaret Eirvin, but survived by a myriad of loved ones. Devoted mother to daughter Beth (Brian) Kovarik; dear sister to Earnest Jeff Jr. (Joann) Eirvin, John (Marie) Eirvin, and Patricia (Richard) Bergholtz; treasured grandmother of Tres Brown and Cole Kovarik; cherished friend of Trella Blades; and beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews. Linda is also survived by many other dear relatives and friends.

Linda was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 14 to delighted parents Earnest and Margaret in 1952. Throughout her life, Linda was known for the love and care with which she tended to her garden. From the dedication and love that she put into her gardening, bloomed joy, pride, and friendships with anyone Linda met. In addition to her gardening, Linda found great enjoyment and peace in hobbies such as crafting, jigsaw puzzles, and crossword puzzles, keeping her mind sharp.

Linda is also remembered for her excitement and love of singing karaoke. The memories of joy and laughter made in these moments will be cherished by Linda’s family and friends for years to come. May Linda rest in peace.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to National Kidney Foundation in Linda’s honor.

A visitation for Linda’s friends and family to gather and share memories will be held on Tuesday March 3, 2026, at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South City Chapel, 7027 Gravois Ave. St. Louis, MO 63116, from 11:00 a.m. until her funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Graveside service and interment in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery immediately following.
