Lisetta Mary Brinkop Swayzee

87, passed away peacefully at her home on June 7, 2021. "Liz," as she was known, bravely battled dementia, and fought it fiercely. She was born in the Carondelet neighborhood of St. Louis, attended high school at Principia, and college at Washington University. She had a proud and lengthy career in the retail industry,  modeling for Montaldo's, and working in sales at Saks Fifth Avenue for more than 35 years. She loved to vacation in Florida and was a long-standing fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. She was a devoted and loving mother of four, Kirsten Swayzee Morales, Valerie Swayzee (Anthony) Droste, S arah Swayzee Taylor and Janet Swayzee Stiffler. She was grandmother of nine, and great grandmother of four. She brought love and light to everyone she knew and she will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Services: Services are private. Interment New St. Marcus Cemetery.
