With loving remembrance and gratitude for a life filled with devotion and grace, we announce the peaceful passing of Lois Guehne.
Lois was a woman of warmth, quiet strength, and deep compassion, whose presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew her. She was the beloved wife of the late Bill Guehne, with whom she shared more than 40 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life rich in love, laughter, and cherished memories; traveling in their younger years and later finding their greatest happiness in the simple blessings of home and family.
Lois was a devoted mother and grandmother, nurturing her family with kindness, patience, and unwavering support. She shared a special bond with her children and bonus children: Milton (Barb) Berwin, and Dennis (Carolyn) Berwin, the late Keith (Karen) Guehne, Kevin (Tammy) Guehne. Her love extended generously to her grandchildren: Megan (Jake) Busch, and Andy (Sam) Berwin, Keith Guehne, Kelly (Duane) Bequette, Alan (Ashton) Guehne, Scott Guehne; as well as her great-grandchildren Tanner Berwin, Logan Berwin, Wren Busch, Jackson Bequette, and Mason Bequette, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
A gentle and caring soul, Lois found joy in caring for her home, supporting her family, and creating a welcoming space where everyone felt loved. She also had a special fondness for shopping; whether it was finding the perfect gift for a loved one or simply enjoying a day out browsing stores, it was one of the simple pleasures that brought her happiness and allowed her to share her generosity with others. Her steady presence and thoughtful nature were constants in the lives of those around her.
Lois will be deeply missed by her family, dear friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and quiet resilience will live on through the many lives she touched.
As we honor her memory, we take comfort in knowing she is reunited with Bill, her beloved husband. May her life continue to inspire those who knew her, and may her memory forever be a source of peace and strength.
