Lori C. Wrombel, beloved mother, daughter, and friend, passed away on July 21, 2025, in her hometown of Saint Louis, Missouri. Born on November 30, 1966, Lori was a vibrant soul who touched the lives of all who knew her. She was known for her selflessness, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her unwavering love and devotion as a mother, especially to her cherished daughter Melissa Wrombel, defined her life.
Lori was a passionate woman with a heart full of joy. She found happiness in cheering for her number one team, the St. Louis Blues, embracing the excitement and camaraderie of hockey. Bingo was another of her favorite pastimes, where she enjoyed the thrill of the game amidst friends. Music was also a source of joy for Lori, especially the lively tunes of Sammy Hagar, which she would play to uplift her spirits and those around her.
As a daughter, Lori was dearly loved by her mother Carolyn (nee Linxwiler) Henson, who witnessed her beauty and grace every day. Her nurturing spirit extended to her family, where she held a special place in the hearts of her aunts Laverne Wrombel, Lorretta Lampen, and Jim Lampen, as well as a multitude of cousins and friends who were drawn to her warmth and kindness.
Lori's absence is deeply felt in the profound silence left behind, as her loved ones will undoubtedly miss her vibrant energy and loving presence. She is preceded in death by her father Gerard Wrombel, sisters Michelle "Shelly" Wrombel and Julie Wrombel, as well as her beloved grandmothers, Gwendolyn (nee Linxwiler) Smith and Francis Wrombel, and her grandpa Walter Wrombel.
The legacy of Lori C. Wrombel will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her selflessness and love were unmatched, and while she was taken from this world far too soon, she will never be forgotten.
