Mae Long

Mae A. Long, 95, passed away on November 20, 2021. Beloved daughter of the late Arthur E. and the late Sophie, nee Trinka, Long, dear sister of the late Edward, the late John, and the late Kenneth Long, cherished aunt of Rita, Tom, Jim, Jerry, Cullen, Timothy, Barbara, and Jon. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews as well as many dear friends and neighbors.

Mae was very kind and generous to all. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Zoo, especially the elephants.

Memorials are appreciated in lieu of flowers to the St. Louis Zoo .

Services: Visitation will be held Friday November 26 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home South City Chapel, 7027 Gravois Ave. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.
