Marcella "Marcy" Dill

Dill, Marcella “Marcy”, of Saint Louis, Missouri, was born to Leondras and Gladys (nee Canada) Friedmann and entered into rest Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the age of 82.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, David Friedmann.

She leaves, her beloved husband of 53 years, Richard, her devoted daughter, Margo, her treasured grandchildren, Katie and Logan, and her entertaining brother, Larry Walker. She was a loving aunt, dear cousin, and cherished friend to many.

Marcy was a smart cookie. She started her career as an administrative assistant at Webster University. After receiving her bachelor’s and Master of Arts in Human Resources, she was eventually promoted to associate vice president of academic affairs where she oversaw several sites across the U.S., Bermuda, and Iceland. Marcy was an active leader at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, and she loved missions work and women’s programming. She was a dynamite speaker and loved to sing in the choir. Most of all Marcy loved her family and cherished her time with her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Concord Trinity United Methodist Church.

Visitation, Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 10:00 am until the time of Service at 11:00 am. Both held at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, 5275 South Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis (63126).
