Margaret "Margie" Bauer

Margaret "Margie" Bauer, known for her vibrant spirit and zest for life, passed away on April 1, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Margie was born on March 3, 1928, to her loving parents John & Adele (nee Ziegler) Bucher. She was a woman of many passions and interests, with a special fondness for the thrill of the casino as the "slot machine queen", dancing the night away, shows and concerts, spending time with loved ones, shopping, basking in the warmth of the sun, live life to the absolute fullest, and savoring every moment with a hot cup of black coffee.

In her journey through life, Margie touched the hearts of everyone she met. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Jackie Foster, brother John Bucher II, and her beloved husband Charlie Bauer. Margie's presence will be deeply missed by her surviving family members: daughter Stephanie Bauer (Danny), sons Casey Bauer (Laura) and Jim Bauer (Lori), cherished grandchildren Jason Harman & Eric Shilharvey, Blake Stretch (Chrissy), Sam Bauer (Casey), Sydney Bauer; and her dear boyfriend Carl Ripp.

Margie's laughter and warmth brought light into the lives of those around her. Her legacy lives on through the memories shared by family and friends who were fortunate enough to have known this remarkable woman. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love that she so generously gave during her time on earth.
