Margaret Vunetich

Margaret M. Vunetich, nee McMahon, 84, passed away on January 11, 2022. Daughter of the late John L. and the late Mary, nee Dennehy, McMahon, wife of the late Raymond S. Vunetich Sr., mother of; Raymond S. Vunetich Jr., special caregiver Brigitte E. Vunetich, and Patrick J. (Christina) Vunetich, grandmother of; Morgan (Ryan Petersen), Kacie Vunetich, and Kamryn Vunetich, great-grandmother of; Brooke, Liam, Charlie, and Brody, sister of; Mary (the late Jim) Apenbrink, the late James (Judy) McMahon, Evey (Bill) Gautner, and two sisters who died in infancy. She is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.

Margaret was retired from Wal-Mart and loved to flower garden. She loved her family and was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. Margaret was a devout member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and loved to attend Mass. She was a truly special person who volunteered with hospice and the Peregrine Society. She enjoyed going to the casino, traveling, rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals, and just being around her beloved family and friends.

Memorials are appreciated in lieu of flowers to the family.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4-8 pm, Thursday, January 20, 2022, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home, 7027 Gravois Ave, St. Louis, Missouri 63116, with a prayer service at 7 pm.
