Marguerite Meyer

Marguerite Meyer, nee Bearden, 97, passed away Dec. 7, 2022. Beloved wife of over 66 years to the late Edmond Meyer, dear mother of; the late Edmond Walter (Joyce) Meyer, Mel (Michelle) Meyer, the late Gary (Donna) Meyer, and Karen (Gary) Hawkins, loving grandmother of; Edmond James Meyer, Ben Hawkins, Greg Hawkins, Hallie Faye Meyer, David Sherrick, and Vicki Sherrick, and cherished great grandmother to many.

Marguerite and her family were faithful members at Salem Lutheran Church since 1963. She was an illustrator and draftsman and was able to work in all the places they lived including Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Missouri. Marguerite was an artist and active in the St. Louis Artist Guild, St. Louis Watercolor Society, Greater St. Louis Art Association, Art World Association, and Ten of Arts.

Memorials are appreciated in lieu of flowers to Salem Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be from 10-11:00 am, Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Salem Lutheran Church, 8343 Gravois Rd. Affton, MO 63123, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 am also at the church. Interment will be private at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. www.ziegenheinfuneralhome.com
