Born on July 1, 1930, in Saint Louis City, Missouri, Marion lived a rich and full life marked by devotion to her family, her faith, and a passion for creating moments of togetherness and joy.

Her nurturing love extended to her beloved great-grandchildren: Dresden, Kyle, Liam, Emerson, Allen, Adrian, Calihan, Abram, Miriam, and Jack, each a living testament to the deep roots she planted in her family’s heart. Marion was also a dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many whose lives she enriched with her generosity and warmth.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Rev. William "Bill" Schmeerbauch; her grandson Andrew K. Schmeerbauch; and her brother Louis Kauffmann.
