Marty Sweazea

Marty Sweazea, 83, passed away on February 16, 2022. Husband of; Marilyn Sweazea, nee Lyons, son of; the late William and the late Maola, nee Jones, Sweazea, father of; Karen Sweazea-McMurran, Belinda Sweazea-Forester, Julia (Rob) Sweazea-Smith, and Chad (Liz) Sweazea, stepfather of; Terry (Sue) Johnston and Bruce (Theresa) Johnston, grandfather of; the late Michael, Reiko, James, Brittany, Chris, and Amanda, great grandfather of many, brother of; the late Raymond and Connie. He is also survived by many other dear relatives and friends.

Marty was a devout Christian who loved Jesus and is now singing in Heaven. He was a loving husband and father and always prayed for his children. Marty worked as a painter for McDonell Douglas and later for his own business. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. Marty enjoyed playing horseshoes, bowling and, later, golf, always striving to excel at everything he participated in.

Memorials are appreciated to South County Bible Church, Shiloh Christian Children’s Ranch or Show-Me Christian Youth Home .
