Mary Jane Bowman

January 30, 1938 — June 12, 2025

Mary Jane Bowman entered into rest on Thursday June 12, 2025, at the age 87. Beloved wife of the late Bill Bowman; devoted mother of Kim (Dale) Largent, Gail (Nelson) Lacy, and the late Guy Babcock; cherished grandmother of the late Coby Babcock-Largent, Matthew Largent, Christina (Charlie) White, Rachael Lacy, and Jeffrey Babcock; blessed great-grandmother of Alexis, Quinten, Wyatt, Jaxsyn, Aurora, Isabella, Autumn, Weston, Adalyn, Peyton, Bentley, and Bailey; and cherished aunt and great-aunt to Tracy (Lesli) Bray, Adeja and Tony, Jason Bray, Brannon, Terri (Mike) Durning, and Rich Lehman. Mary Jane is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends. Preceded in death by dear siblings Lucille Puhl and James Bray.

Born on January 30, 1938, Mary Jane was a shining light, bringing love everywhere she went. Her spirit and warmth touched the hearts of everyone she encountered, making her a truly loveable angel walking amongst friends and family.

Mary Jane dedicated a significant part of her life as a factory worker for White Rodgers Thermostat until her well-earned retirement. However, retirement did not slow her down; instead, it led her to another chapter where she became a food demonstrator at Costco. Her infectious joy and passion for connecting with others made her a local favorite, as she shared culinary delights while creating lasting memories with those around her.

Above all, Mary Jane cherished her time spent with family. Her love for her loved ones was unwavering, and she was always eager to create moments filled with laughter and warmth. Her affection extended beyond her family to her beloved cats, whose companionship brought her immense joy. Mary Jane will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and kindness that will continue to inspire those left behind.
