Mary Ann nee Davisson Chibnall, a beloved member of the St. Louis community, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on February 27, 2024, surrounded by her loving family in Saint Louis. She was born on September 19, 1930, in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Mary Ann was known for her unwavering dedication to her family and community. She was a proud member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church for 50 years, where she found solace and strength in her faith. Mary Ann's commitment to service was evident through her role as a Girl Scout leader for 30 years and her volunteer work at Alexian Brothers Hospital for two decades.

Mary Ann is survived by her children Richard (Christine), Matthew (Sherry), Tina Chibnall-Colyer, John (Kate), Susan (Paul), William (Paula), and Timothy. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.

In addition to her immediate family, Mary Ann is remembered by the memory of her late husband Richard Chibnall Jr., late sons Thomas and James (Sharon), the late grandson Jack Henry and late Patrick Chassaing who was near and dear just like a son. Their presence in Mary Ann's life brought her immeasurable happiness and fulfillment.

Mary Ann's hobbies and interests centered around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she cherished dearly. Her legacy of love and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Mary Ann Chibnall will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May she rest in peace knowing that she touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity, and love.

Mary Ann's life will be celebrated in a Visitation and Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church on March 7, 2024. The Visitation will begin at 8:45 AM followed by Mass at 9:45 AM. The Interment will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 11:15 AM.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Saint Louis Altenheim Assisted Living for the care and kindness shown to Mary during her stay.

In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to St. Jude Childrens Research Center.
