Mary Elaine Hart

Hart, Mary Elaine passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at the age of 68. Daughter of the late Jesse Hart and Marion Hart, nee Quinn; wife of 46 years to Paul Civili; mother to Dominic Civili (Leah Byrn), Sarah (Kyle) Christeson, Lillian (Andrew) Moore, and Nathaniel Civili; loving grandmother to Autumn Christeson, Gabriel Christeson, Jesse Moore, Charles Moore, Remi Civili, Samuel Moore, and Mira Civili; sister to Tena Hart, Patricia (Murray) Pounds, Peggy Hart, and the late Daniel Hart; cherished by other family and dear friends.

Mary was a family nurse practitioner. Mary loved animals and the environment, so she enjoyed spending time outdoors participating in activities like horseback riding, hiking, going on float trips, camping and bicycling. She also found comfort in baking. Mary was very spiritual and loved to share this through her singing.

Visitation on Tuesday May 2, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons City Chapel, 7027 Gravois Ave., St. Louis, MO 63116. Funeral Wednesday May 3 at 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 11:15.
