Mildred "Millie" Burnine

Mildred “Millie” Burnine (nee Carroll) passed away on April 30th, 2023 at the age of 92, daughter of the late Allen Carroll and the late Mabel Carroll (nee Smith), devoted mother of Armel Gene Carroll (Leta), Beverly (Jim) Maisel, and Belinda Burnine, cherished grandmother of Greg (Jamie) Carroll, Joyce Miller, Christopher (Kim) Carroll, Breanna (Tony Pannell) Maisel, Mallory Maisel (Andrew Rettig), Chyanne Brown, Maison Brown, loving sister of Hettie Becker and Norma Lee Laubinger, the late Janice Bailey, the late Marian Clark, and the late Evelyn Swenke. Millie was also a loving great grandmother and beloved great-great grandmother. 

Millie enjoyed reading and loved her crossword puzzles. Millie was also a social butterfly. When she was active, Millie was an avid participant in bowling, volleyball, and softball. 

In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to the American Cancer Society. 

Visitation is being held from 9-11 am May 5, 2023, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint Louis, Missouri 63129. Funeral service at 11 am also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens.
