Mildred Mahne

Mildred M. Mahne, nee Mayer, 102, entered God ‘s loving care on November 21, 2022. Dear daughter of late Jacob and the late Clara, nee Pruetzel, Mayer, loving wife of the late Elmer Mahne, beloved mother of Marsha Mahne, cherished sister of; the late Frank Mayer, the late George Mayer, the late Clara Vasel, the late Lillie Gittemeier, and the late Lorena Bailey. She is survived by many other dear relatives and friends.

Mildred was a retired bookkeeper, first at Ralston Purina and later Westrich Photography. She was a lifelong member at Eden UCC where her family were charter members. Mildred was very talented with all types of needle work including knitting, tatting, crocheting, quilting, and sewing her own clothes, she also enjoyed baking and cooking. Her big smile and warm welcoming hugs will be missed by all who knew her.

Memorials are appreciated in lieu of flowers to Eden United Church of Christ Memorial Fund.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 pm, Friday, November 25, 2022, John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home City Chapel 7027 Gravois Rd. St. Louis, Missouri, 63116. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Eden United Church of Christ, 8920 Eden Ave., St. Louis, Missouri 63123 with visitation beginning at 9am.
