Schmieg (nee Comer); dear father of Cheryl (Robert) Deutsch, David and Donald (Kimberly) Schmieg; dear grandfather of Kelly (Andrew), Timothy (Megan), Danielle, Tyler and Riese; dear great-grandfather of Tessa, Reilly, Jackson and Maddox; dear brother of Betty Thumm and the late Wallace and Robert Schmieg; dear brother-in-law of Lawrence (Karen) Comer; our dear uncle, cousin and friend. Services: Funeral Saturday 10:00 am at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS (South County) 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd (63129). Interment Sunset Memorial Park. If desired memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Arthritis Foundation. VISITATION FRIDAY 3-9 PM.
