Daughter of Edward and Ora Riekenberg; wife of William L. Franz (deceased) and John A. Kristmann (deceased); mother of: William S. (Bill) Franz (Norma); Richard E. Franz (Karen); and Barbara M. Lukowski (Steve). Step-Mother to: Mark Kristmann (Donna, deceased);  John L. Kristmann (Ramona); Diana Rewczuk (John); and Deborah Huitt (David). Grandma to: Amy Schipper; Zachary Franz; Raechel Lukowski; Brian Franz (Maria); Anna Franz; Will Lukowski; and Cindy Hake (Garrett). Step-Grandmother to: Marcia Kristmann; Kathleen Howell (Wyatt); Jayne Aschen (Mark); Laura Vivian (Tim); Jennifer Rewczuk; Michael Kristmann; and Timothy Kristmann. Great-Grandma to  Hailey Schipper; Makenzie Hake; and Benjamin Hake. 

 

A dedicated friend to many, especially Sally Franz. The matriarch of a wide-ranging family, who was always ready to roll up her sleeves and get the job done with determination and an occasional demanding attitude!  

 

Services from John L. Ziegenhein with a visitation on Thursday January 18, 2024, from 3-7 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129. Nancy’s funeral will be held the following morning, January 19, at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. with prayers at the funeral home at 11:10 a.m. before processing to church. Interment in Sunset Memorial Park and Mausoleum.

 

Memorial donations are appreciated to The Backstoppers and Feed My People St. Louis.

 

Appreciation is extended to Delmar Gardens South and Pathways Hospice.
