Nancy I. Kuhn

Nancy I. Kuhn (nee Forster), a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend, entered into rest on June 12, 2026, in Saint Louis County, Missouri. Born on November 19, 1944, in Saint Louis City, Missouri, Nancy’s life was marked by love, devotion, and a joyful spirit that touched all who knew her.

Nancy graduated from Cleveland High School in June of 1962, a milestone that marked the beginning of a full and meaningful life. She was known for her warm heart and gentle nature, qualities that were evident in her relationships with family and friends. Nancy had a deep love for all kinds of dogs, a passion that brought her much happiness throughout her life. She also delighted in antique shopping, savoring the stories and beauty of treasures from days gone by. Nancy’s curiosity led her to try her hand at gardening, where she found joy in nurturing life and growth in her own special way.

Nancy’s family was the cornerstone of her world. She was the loving wife of Paul R. Kuhn, to whom she was devoted for 60 years. Together, they shared a lifetime of memories filled with love and companionship. Nancy was a devoted mother to Paul D. Kuhn and Kenneth P.  (Traci) Kuhn. Her children were a source of immense pride and joy. Nancy’s heart expanded even further to embrace her cherished grandchildren: Alexandria (Brad) Yahl, Abigail Kuhn, Mackenzie Kuhn, Austin Kuhn, and Presley Kuhn, each of whom brought light and laughter to her days. She was also the treasured great-grandmother of Harper Yahl, Jacob Yahl, and Charlie Stevens, whose presence was a blessing to her life.

In addition to her close family, Nancy was a dear sister-in-law to Laura Lee (Edward) Redden, and a beloved aunt and friend to many, holding a special place in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.

Nancy’s journey was not without sorrow. She was preceded in death by her son Richard C. Kuhn and her parents, John and Daisy (nee Tuggle) Forster, whose memories she carried with her always.
