Noel F. Barlows, a cherished member of his family and community, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026, in his hometown of Saint Louis, Missouri. Born on October 17, 1946, Noel lived a life rich in love and passion, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

Noel is survived by his beloved wife, Linda (nee Obermeyer) Barlows. Together, they nurtured a family filled with love and support. He was a devoted father to Paul (Kelly) Barlows and Allison (Yoshinori) Kijima, instilling in them the values of kindness and perseverance. Noel's heart swelled with pride for his cherished grandchildren: Kaily Barlows, Lily Barlows, Bently Barlows, Nagisa Kijima, Namiki Kijima, and Satoshi Kijima, who brought immense joy and laughter into his life. He also leaves behind dear cousins and many friends, reflecting the wide-reaching impact he had on those around him.

Noel was preceded in death by his parents, the late Alex and Rita (nee Condon) Barlows, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became. He was also the beloved brother of the late Alexis Barlows and Judy too! of whom he held close to his heart throughout his life.

Beyond his familial ties, Noel was an avid motorcycle rider and competitor, embracing the thrill of the open road. His adventurous spirit and dedication to his passions were evident to those fortunate enough to witness his enthusiasm for life. Further showcasing his commitment to community, Noel served as the past commander of American Legion St. Joseph Memorial Post 525, and he held the esteemed title of Chef de Gare Passe of Voiture 38 of the 40 et 8, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to service and camaraderie.

A memorial service honoring Noel's life will be held on March 10, 2026, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South City Chapel, located at 7027 Gravois Ave, St. Louis, MO 63116. Family and friends are invited to gather for the memorial services starting at 1:00 PM.

Noel F. Barlows' legacy will continue to inspire and touch the lives of many. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those he loved and served.
