Norma dedicated a significant part of her professional life to serving others at the old St. Anthony Hospital, where her care and kindness left a lasting impact on many. Beyond her career, she was deeply involved in her church, Prince of Peace United Church of Christ, where she was a vibrant member of the congregation. Her spiritual life was central to her, illustrated by her active participation and meaningful contributions.
Her home was often filled with the aroma of freshly baked cookies during Christmas, a tradition she joyfully carried out for her church family. She found great pleasure in crafts, which brought creative joy and connection throughout the years.
Norma was the beloved wife of Edward "Duke" Wodraska, with whom she shared a life of mutual love and support with for nearly 70 years. She was the loving mother of Susan (Mark) Lang and a cherished granny to Bryan (Libby) Lang, Victoria (Ryan) Koppy, and Samantha (Dustin) Hitchcock. Her legacy of love extends to her treasured great-grandchildren, numbering five, who were the light of her later years. Norma’s familial bonds were also enriched by her roles as a dear sister, sister-in-law, cousin, aunt, great-aunt, and godmother. She was a friend and a special friend to Pat and Bob Forchee, who held a treasured place in her heart.
Norma is now reunited with her parents, William and Mary (nee Liebach) Klein, and her son, the late David J. Wodraska, whose memories she carried with her always.
