Patricia Ann Steinberg

Patricia Ann Steinberg, 83 a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on June 22, 2025, in Saint Louis, Missouri. Born on November 3, 1941, in Washington, Missouri, Patricia led a life marked by compassion and dedication, most notably in her esteemed career as a registered nurse. She took great pride in her profession, exemplifying the selflessness that is characteristic of those who serve in healthcare.

Patricia’s heart was deeply rooted in her connections with family and friends. She found joy in gathering around the table, delighting in meals shared at her favorite restaurant, Concord Grill, where laughter and stories flowed freely. Her talent in the kitchen was equally cherished; she enjoyed baking and creating various dishes to contribute to gatherings, always ensuring everyone felt welcomed and cared for through her culinary creations.

Patricia's legacy lives on in the hearts of her loved ones. She was a devoted mother to Elizabeth Johnson and Susan Fels, nurturing both daughters with love and guidance. As a grandmother, she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, including Megan (Hayden) Ponsar, Sara (Kenny Distefan) Johnson, and Jacob Fels, fostering a bond that spanned generations. She was a proud great-grandmother to Roman Ponsar and embraced the role of a bonus grandmother to Sam Kenney, extending her loving spirit further.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bernice (nee Hoelsher) McLaughlin, who shaped the values she carried throughout her life. Patricia Ann Steinberg will be remembered not only for her professional achievements but also for the warmth, love, and kindness she shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy of caregiving and connection will continue to resonate in the lives she touched.

A memorial service will be held at a later date for family and friends to come and share in Patricia's Celebration of Life.
