Patricia Ann Tutin

Patricia Ann Tutin (Westerhold) passed peacefully to be home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, surrounded by loved ones, on June 10, 2024. A proud lifelong native of St. Louis, Missouri, Patricia was born to the late Walter and Mabel Westerhold on October 2, 1936. She married the late Andrew Tutin, Sr., on May 18, 1957, enjoying more than 50 years of union together building a family they cherished dearly.

Patricia was a beloved mother to four children: Judith Reeves, Andrew Tutin, Jr. (the late Christy), Barbara (Tracy) Hounsom, and the late Bruce Tutin. She was a dear grandmother to seven grandchildren: Marcus (Aimee) Hounsom, Andrea Tutin (Jeremy Gabillet), Anna (Richard) Layton, Andrew Tutin III, Taylor Tutin, Sam Hounsom, and Stella Tutin. Patricia was the youngest and last surviving of eight siblings that she treasured deeply: Celeste (Joseph) Aiello, Ralph (Bernice) Westerhold, Lucille (Clyde) McKinney, Edward (Doris) Westerhold, Kenneth Westerhold, Robert Westerhold, and Richard (Marge) Westerhold.  

Patricia spent most of her career as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, relishing the chance to connect with her community. She loved her home and neighbors in South City St. Louis, her sweet cat Squeaky, tending her gardens, and watching the entire catalog of Hallmark movies.

Patricia valued her family above everything and celebrated holidays and birthdays with so much joy and fervor. She will be remembered for her unrelenting kindness, her unmatched generosity, her ability to light up a room with laughter and humor, and her profound love for all who were blessed to connect with her in life.

She is survived by her children Barbara (Tracy), Judith, and Andrew, Jr., as well as her seven grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Monday, June 17 at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons City Chapel 7027 Gravois Avenue, St. Louis, MO, 63116 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at the same location at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18.
