Patsy Johnson, nee Boyce, passed away on Monday June 10, 2024, at the age of 87.
Preceded in death by, and reunited with parents Albert and Floy, nee Fritz, Boyce; husband Charles Johnson; sons Kenneth Johnson and Christopher Johnson; and siblings Donald Boyce, Richard Boyce, Robert Boyce, Lois Apple, and Mary Brown.
Survived by beloved children Kelli Melbrod, Steven Johnson, and Alan Johnson; cherished grandchildren Stephani Winkeler, Taylor Melbrod, Michael Shane Melbrod, and Adam Johnson; treasured great-grandchildren Hunter Winkeler, Adalyn Winkeler, and Amelia Johnson; dear brother Alan Boyce; dear nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Pasty was retired from the Department of Defense after many years of working as a clerical analyst. However, the main priority in Patsy's life was her family, whom she loved and treasured. Her love also extended to animals, especially dogs. In her free time, Patsy enjoyed going on weekend trips to play cards with her friends, doing arts and crafts, as well as puzzles and crossword puzzles, exercising her mind in the quieter moments. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to meet her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Alzheimer's Association and American Heart Association.
Patsy's visitation will be held from 8:45 a.m. until funeral service at 9:45 a.m. on Friday June 21, 2024, at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129. Interment in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, alongside her late husband, Charles, at 10:45 a.m.
