Pauline Pierce

Pierce, Pauline, of Fenton, Missouri, passed peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the remarkable age of 93 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband the late Elbert L. Pierce, her daughter, Charlotte Lewis, her brothers, Bob, John, and James Morgan and her sisters, Bettie Holloway, and Shirley Pulley.

Pauline will be missed by her devoted daughter, Debra (Mark) Jones, her six beloved grandchildren, LeAndra Pierce, Johnny (Shelly) Cummins, Matthew (Lisa) Ban, Deanne (Joshua) Vroom, Elaine Niemeyer, and Joseph Niemeyer, Jr., her seven precious great grandchildren, her nine great great grandchildren, and her two sisters, Sharon (Mike) Vanzant of Tennessee and Ina (Tony) Wright of Granite City.

Pauline loved her family and cherished the time she was able to spend with them. She was affectionally referred to as Grandma P. She had a love for life. Pauline had a special relationship with her husband of 67 years, they were best friends. She treasured the trip they took to Hawaii when they celebrated their 35th Anniversary. She loved Country Music and especially George Jones. Pauline enjoyed going to Silver Dollar City with one grandchild in tow. Each grandchild could hardly wait for their turn to go with Grandma P. Pauline will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA).

Visitation, Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral Friday, January 20, 2023, at 10:00 am. Both held at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 7027 Gravois Ave., St. Louis, MO 63116. Interment St. Matthew Cemetery.
