Peggy Alberta Tucker

October 26, 1940 — September 14, 2025

Peggy Alberta Tucker passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family. Born to the late Albert and Betty Myers, Peggy was the heart of a vast and vibrant family, and the steady presence that held generations together. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald L. Tucker Sr., with whom she shared 35 years of marriage filled with laughter, fishing trips, and music. Together, they built a life rooted in warmth and togetherness; a life that Peggy continued to nurture long after Ronald’s passing. Peggy was the cherished mother of Nancy (Robert) Buss nee Tucker, the late David Tucker, Ronald (Beth) Tucker Jr., Vickie (Michael) McDonald nee Tucker, Heather (Derrick) Rhodes nee Tucker, and Susan (Jon Stevens) Capleton nee Tucker. Her love extended deeply into the lives of her grandchildren: Zack (Alicia) Tucker, Christopher Buss, Matthew (Lisa) Buss, David "Lake" McDonald, Cagney (Alex) Ferbert, Derrick (Lindsey) Rhodes Jr., Destin Rhodes, Dyllon Rhodes, Bailey Rhodes, Lucey Tucker, Andrew Tucker, Christian Tucker, and Adam Tucker. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Mason Tucker, McKenzie Tucker, Morgan Kozemczak, Matthew Kozemczak, Levi Haertling, Levi Rhodes, Oliver Rhodes, McKenna Buss, Noah Buss, Madelyn Buss, Finnick Ferbert, Graham Ferbert, Rollins Ferbert, and Iylana McDonald. Peggy was a loving sister to the late Kathy (Kenny) Hawkins, Barbara (Ed) Drummond, Tony (Susan) Myers, and Albert “Skip” (the late Joyce) Myers, and a devoted aunt to Tiffany Fischer. She will be deeply missed by countless other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and strength.

Peggy’s passions were simple and joyful; she loved to dance, to play music, and to lose herself in the twists and turns of investigative television shows. She found peace in casting a line beside her husband and found purpose in raising not just a family, but a village. Her home was a sanctuary, her presence a source of stability, and her example a guiding light. She was the matriarch, the role model, the one who made sure everyone had a place to land. Her legacy is not just in the names listed above, but in the values she instilled: loyalty, compassion, and the courage to face life with grace.

🕊️ Peggy wasn’t just the center of her family; she was its foundation. Her life was a testament to love in action, and her memory will continue to shape the lives of those she raised, supported, and inspired.
