Ramone "Pookie" Philippe
Lee
Dec 9, 1975 — Nov 1, 2026
With heavy hearts and deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Ramone “Pookie” Philippe Lee on November 1, 2026, at the age of 50.
Ramone was the beloved son of Karen J. Lee and Christopher Jordan, and the cherished grandson of George W. Lee and Luddie Lee (née Jackson). He was a devoted and loving husband to Lisa Ann Lee, with whom he shared eleven wonderful years of marriage. Together, they created a life rich with treasured memories, especially the many fishing trips they enjoyed side by side. Their bond was built on friendship, respect, and a deep love that remained steadfast throughout the years.
He was the loving brother of Joshua C. Lee; the treasured nephew of Rodney Lee (the late Diane Lee), Terry (Roaschell) Lee, Byron (Audrey) Lee, Stephanie (Otis) Morgan, and Jeff (Janet) Lee; and a dear cousin to Clifette Johnson and many other beloved cousins. Ramone was also a cherished son-in-law to Jan and Greg Rajala, a beloved brother-in-law to Kathy (Dan) Romanowich, and a proud and loving uncle to Peyton, Reagan, Alison, and Morgan.
Among the many special relationships in his life was the enduring friendship he shared with his best friend, Lamar “Doc” Bass. Their friendship was one built on loyalty, trust, laughter, and countless memories that will forever be treasured.
Known affectionately as “Pookie,” Ramone had a remarkable way of making people feel welcomed and valued. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life: cooking delicious meals for those he loved, relaxing with a good movie, casting a fishing line into the water with Lisa, and gathering with family and friends. More than anything, Ramone loved spending time with the people who meant the most to him. His kind heart, generous spirit, and infectious smile left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Ramone's life was a testament to the importance of love, family, friendship, and togetherness. Though his earthly journey has come to an end, the countless memories he created and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed by his wife, family, and friends whose lives were enriched by his presence.
Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and forever dear.
May Ramone “Pookie” Philippe Lee rest in eternal peace.
