Randee Hollocher

d. December 3, 2021

Columbia

Randee Del Hollocher, joy-giver, gift-giver, robust singer of praises, and greatly delighted in nephew, cousin, and brother in Christ, was embraced by Jesus and loved ones who had gone before him on Friday night, December 3, 2021. He was gently accompanied to heaven’s door by his beloved and faithful caregivers Paul and Carolyn Meiners, and adored cousin Jennifer, from his own bedroom at home in Columbia, Missouri.

Randee was a major Cardinals and Rams fan donning countless fandom t-shirts and caps gifted by others over the years. He spent many hours poring over his collection of sports cards and magazines and loved listening to music and enjoying pictures of his family and friends. He took pride in his 22 years of work and service for Alternative Community Training: ACT making friends in the process and building precious relationships with the devoted staff who have supported him so well over the years. He was a man of fervent prayer and faith, relentlessly bringing those the Holy Spirit put on his heart before the Lord. Everyone who knew Randee marveled at his joy and resilience. He had boundless energy, living fully with little complaint in a body that appeared inhospitable. It was evident that he was carried along by his faith and the tender mercies of God. We rejoice in the thought of Randee standing up straight and extending his arms fully to embrace those he loves. He is enjoying the freedom to dance in a way he has never experienced before. Oh, how he must be singing praises now! Hallelujah!

He is survived by his Aunt Sue Grillo, Uncle Gary Grillo, and many cousins along with his care-family in Christ, Paul Meiners, Carolyn Meiners, and their 6 children.

He was preceded into glory by his mama, Joydell Hollocher and father, John (Jack) Hollocher.

There will be a private graveside service on Wednesday, December 8th in St Louis, Mo where his body will be laid to rest beside his parents. There will be a public memorial service in January celebrating Randee's life and homegoing. (Details to be announced at a later date)
