Richard Dreyer

Rich peacefully passed through the Gates of Heaven on Saturday February 5, 2022.  No longer burdened by a body ravaged with rheumatoid arthritis, he was last seen dancing a jig and crooning, "I Did It My Way."

Rich was known for many things. His quick wit. His dry sense of humor. And an incredible ability to make you feel like YOU were the most important person in the room at all times. His gift to the world was helping others see their own unique greatness and become the best version of themselves they could be. He was kind, compassionate, and empathetic.  He also knew when you needed a cold, hard dose of reality to help you grow.  He was a great brother, friend,, mentor and coach to everyone he knew. Truly, he was a man for others.

Rich leaves a legacy of love to many, many family and friends.

The beloved son of the late William and Margaret (Sahrmann) Dreyer,

Cherished brother of Bill (Judy dec’d) Dreyer and Maureen (Jim) Stoeppler.

Revered uncle of RJ (Jackie), Tim (Lisa), Dennis (Stephanie), Terry (Rachel), David Dreyer and Jennifer (Tom) Williams; Jim (Dina), Joe (Kellie) Stoeppler and Julie (Jim) Paul.

Adored great uncle of Noah, Jack, Anna, Helena, Nick, Wil and Henry Dreyer; Adam, Halle and Sydney Stoeppler; Cassidy, Anna and Ryan Paul; Allie Graham.

There will be a private memorial service with a Celebration of Life held at a later date.
