Robert "Bob" Joseph Fernandez

Fernandez, Robert J. “Bob” entered into eternal rest on Tuesday December 19, 2023, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Ruthann Fernandez, nee Michaels; devoted father of daughters Michelle (Mike) Webb and Regina (Lee) Moots; cherished grandfather of Madison Webb, Tyler Webb, and Andrew Webb; dear brother of the late Delores “Dede” (the late Gene) Holtman, JoAnn Bobring, and Ronald “Ron” (Cindy) Fernandez; dear uncle, cousin, and friend of many. 

Bob was an alumnus of McKinley High School before becoming a member of Lambda Beta Lambda fraternity. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and would enjoy bowling nights with his fellow Knights. He was also known to enjoy playing cards with his other friends and family. Bob loved watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball and enjoyed both college and NFL football. Most of all, however, Bob loved to spend his time with his three grandchildren, Madison, Tyler, and Andrew, who will greatly miss him. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the American Heart Association. 

Bob’s visitation will be held January 2, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129. His funeral ceremony will take place the following morning, January 3, at 11 a.m. with a 1-hour visitation prior to the service, also at the funeral home. Interment in St. Matthew Cemetery
