Robert Melsheimer, Sr.

Beloved husband of the late Carole A. (Paszkiewicz) Melsheimer; dear father of Mary (the late Ken) Smith, Bob (Kathy), Michele Bolin, Stephen (Terry), Anthony (Donna), Lisa (Carl) Breeden and Andrew (Wendi) Melsheimer; grandfather of 18; great-grandfather of 19; Our dear uncle, great uncle, cousin, and friend.

Robert was a proud father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved his large family and the time he was able to spend with each of them. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s fan. Robert served his faith as a past State Deputy of the Knights of Columbus. He was fond of the relationships he made there, and it was an honor for him to serve in that capacity.

In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Services: Visitation, Friday, August 20, 2021, from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road (63129). Funeral Saturday, August 21, 2021, starts with Prayers at 9:00 am from John L. Ziegenhein & Sons then to St. Bernadette Catholic Church for a 10:00 am Mass. Interment immediately following at Calvary Cemetery.
