Robert Lawrence Nichols

Nichols, Robert L. (aka Bob) passed away peacefully in the presence of friends and relatives. Bob was 82 and fondly remembered for his kindness, stories, and sharing of wisdom. Bob was an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent in Crestwood. Bob served in the Army Reserve in his early years and was an avid outdoorsman throughout his life. Bob worked for Monsanto throughout his career and often reflected on his experiences there and his coworkers. Bob’s retirement years included frequent lunches with the Friday Foodies group and other retirees. Bob was also an avid family genealogy researcher. Bob volunteered his time helping out with his church and family. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Dale and Helene Selleck Nichols. Bob is survived by friends and relatives throughout the mid-West, East coast, and Texas.

 A memorial service in his honor will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 2pm at the Episcopal Church of the Advent, 9373 Gerber Road, Sappington, MO 63126.  In honor of Bob please consider a memorial donation to the Siteman Cancer Center, 5225 MidAmerica Place, St. Louis, MO 63129.
