Robert Stewart

Robert Wendall Stewart passed away on Wednesday March 20, 2024, at the age of 83. He is survived by beloved wife Cynthia, nee Talbott, Stewart; cherished daughter Pamela Stewart; loyal siblings Marvin "Mark" (Anna) Stewart, Shirley Dvorak, and Lorna Anderson; treasured grandchildren Cierra and T.J.; blessed great-granddaughters Victoria and Ariyah; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends. Preceded in death by parents Marvin and Barbara, nee Calvert, Stewart; brother Eldon "Skip" (Sue) Stewart; and nephews Steve Stewart and Martin Stewart.

Robert was a proud U.S. Army Veteran as a member of the 101st Airborne Division. After his brave service to his country, Robert found a career in construction doing taping and painting, a job that takes a special kind of focus and care to detail. Outside of work Robert held special interests in Harley motorcycles and classic cars, especially Corvettes. Robert will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A special thank you to Mercy Hospice and dear friend Theresa, who helped guide Robert into rest in his final days.

Robert's memorial visitation will be held Thursday March 28 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129. Private interment in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
