Roger Splean

Splean, Roger A. unexpectedly entered into rest on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at age 87.  Beloved husband of Lucille “Lucy” Splean (nee Harper) for 63 years.  Beloved father of Joe (Debbie) Splean and Nancy (Mike) Schuknecht.  Loving grandfather of Eric and Katie Splean and Scott and Emily Schuknecht.  Dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Roger and his family are very proud of his almost 23 years service to the American people in the United States Marine Corp.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Samaritan’s Purse, P. O. Box 3000, Boone, NC (28607), Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, 5275 So. Lindbergh Blvd. (63126), or LightStone Partners, c/o Jon Jordan, 303 Old Forge Drive, Bentonville, AR (72712) with Memo: “Jon and Kaylynn Jordan (India),” are appreciated.

Services:  Visitation Wednesday, (12/30) from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm and funeral Thursday, 12/31) at 10:00 am. Both at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129).  Interment J. B. National Cemetery with full military honors.
