Ronald V. Hanneken

Ronald V. Hanneken was fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on August 19, 2023; Son of the late John and Viola (nee Gokin) Hanneken; beloved husband of 53 years to the late Patricia Hanneken; dearest father to the late Susan Hanneken and Jill (Henry) Buehler; dear grandfather (Papa) to Katie (Matthew) Tellor and Kevin (Laura) Buehler; dearest great-grandfather of Everly Tellor; cherished brother to Kenneth Hanneken, and the late Hildegarde Santen, John Hanneken, Robert Hanneken and Shirley Hanneken; dear uncle and many relatives and friends.

Ronald proudly served in the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He was also a retiree from General American Life Insurance Company. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed poker and bingo. Most of all Ronald was a devoted family man, and he will be missed dearly.

In Lieu of flowers donations will be appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Visitation will be held at 10am on Thursday, August 24,2023 at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons City Chapel 7027 Gravois Ave. St. Louis MO 63116. Funeral Service will be at 11am on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
